Fenced in

Last year we decided that it was time to put a fence up around our plot, we’d had enough of finding our veggies nibbled. We’d started with good intentions and got 3 sides done, but the last panel proved to be our downfall. We’d left it incomplete and unfortunately for us those rabbits found their way in. They’ve managed to find our fruit trees and nibble the bark off (really hoping this hasn’t caused long term damage!) and seem to have chomped our winter cabbages too. I can’t blame them really, they must have been clever to find the gap!

With that in mind we realised before we did any more planting we absolutely had to finish our fence.

It feels great to finally have it finished and to feel like our little patch of land is marked out and protected. Now we just need to get practicing our high jump skills 🙂
