Sweet Peas

I’ve been carefully growing flowers from seed on my windowsills and in the greenhouse in the hope that one day my plot will be exploding with flowers to cut and bring home (I can never bring myself to cut flowers from the borders in my garden!).

A few weeks ago I moved 1 tray of sweet peas from the kitchen windowsill into the greenhouse and at the same time started a second tray. 1 tray just didn’t seem enough, also I’d like to see if this will extend the flowering period of my sweet peas in the same way that succession planting works with radishes and beetroot. It’s worth a try isn’t it?!

IMG_3062With around 24 plants I’m hoping to have plenty of sweet peas for the house…I hope I’ve got enough jam jars ready.
